United Methodist Men
The UMM meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month for dinner and fellowship with others.  A program follows the evening meal.  The men also participate in various community service events including a yearly golf tournament to benefit our missionaries in Tap Chula, Mexico

Traveler's/Older Adults Group
The traveler's are a group of mature adults who are retired or nearing retirement age. The traveler's meet on the 1st Wednesday of the  month for a covered dish lunch followed by a program that has included guest speakers and live entertainment.  Rev. Earl Seckinger is the contact person for this ministry and they would love for you to join them.
United Methodist Women
The UMW is composed of five individual circle groups with women ranging from their 20's to their 80's. They are a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as persons through Jesus Christ. Each circle meets at different dates and times throughout the month. Circles are involved in various projects such as delivering baskets to shut-ins, preparing soldier boxes and sponsoring needy families for Christmas. Praise Band
 The praise band leads our contemporary worship service on Sunday mornings.  They are always looking for singers and musicians to participate.  For information contact Tommy Webster, Director of Music & Worship: tommywebster@springfieldumc.com.

 Gulf Coast Missions Relief
The mission team of SUMC participates twice a year in week long mission trips to help the gulf ravaged coast rebuild after devastating events.  Anyone is welcome to attend these mission trips.  For more information please contact Children's Minister Chance Ward for more information.
Intercessory Prayer Group
This group meets every Tuesday morning at 6:00a.m.  New prayer participants are always encouraged to attend to help lift the power of prayer for those who on our prayer list.
